Fluid engineers prefer large diameters
More heat thanks to superior design 🌡️
The ribbed design of the 25 mm thick and flexible SOLAR-RIPP ® solar tubes, with a surface area three times larger when unwound, enables optimal heat transfer and has already been positively noticed by many experts.
What is often overlooked, however, is the large hydraulic inner diameter of approximately 20 mm, which ensures minimal pressure loss. In colloquial terms, the flow-related friction losses are extremely low. 🌊 Due to the additional parallel connection of the individual solar tubes in the RIPPultimate ® solar absorber, it is significantly superior to other designs – such as multi-tube rubber absorbers with very small diameters – in terms of pressure loss. 👍🏻 This makes it easy to create even very long "solar tracks" – while requiring only minimal external energy to circulate the solar circuit. 🔄️
