Filling the system, which was drained during the winter, with fresh water in the spring can be easily done using the small hand-held tap connected to a garden hose. 💧 A second, open tap at the end of the collector then allows the air displaced by the water to escape.
We recommend installing ball shut-off valves below the supply and return lines to close the pipes during the filling process (otherwise, the water from the garden hose will simply flow into the pool from above). 👍🏻 When water finally flows out of the opposite end instead of air, quickly close the small taps, start the circulation pump, and open the ball valves in the supply and return lines.
Important: Please do not open the small valves again. Any remaining air should be completely expelled into the pool over the next few hours.
