Adhesive (glue) for SOLAR-RIPP ® clips

Using this adhesive (310ml Euro cartridge) in conjunction with our bonding agent (250ml can), you can bond our clips to surfaces such as sandwich metal roofs and other non-absorbent, clean, dry, dust- and grease-free surfaces. Before using the bonding agent, we recommend degreasing the bonding surfaces with a pre-cleaner, such as our PVC pre-cleaner, available in 125g and 500g cans! Pre-treating the underside of the clip and the area on the roof surface with the bonding agent using a clean cloth is essential! Proper application ensures good UV stability, salt water resistance, and ageing resistance of the bond. Shake the bonding agent can well before use. Allow both bonding surfaces to dry for at least 10 minutes and no more than 45 minutes, then immediately apply the adhesive. The processing temperature should be between +5° and +35° Celsius; the final temperature resistance is then -35° to +85° Celsius (briefly above +100° Celsius). The tensile strength after curing is approximately 2 N/mm2, and the tensile shear strength is approximately 3 N/mm2. The first skin forms after half an hour; 2 to 3 mm thick adhesive joints require approximately one day to fully cure (at an outside temperature of +23° C and a humidity of approximately 50%). The gap to be bridged should not exceed 5 mm! The black adhesive is solvent-free and odorless and is not considered hazardous goods according to transport regulations. In an unopened state, the adhesive can be stored for 12 months. Please insert the adhesive cartridge into a standard hardware store hand pressure gun and process it with it. With one cartridge, 30 clips can be glued if a 5mm thick adhesive bead is applied in the center, 50 clips if a 4mm thick adhesive bead is applied, and 80 clips if a 3mm thin adhesive bead is applied.
